What is Counselling?
Therapy provides a safe and confidential space for you to talk to a trained professional about any issues or concerns. You therapist will provide an environment in which you can comfortably explore your thoughts feeing and behaviours. This will help you to develop a better understanding of yourself and others.
A counselling session is time set aside by you and your counsellor which provides a safe and private space where you will not be disturbed or interrupted.
During the counselling session you and the counsellor will consider the issues that brought you to counselling and which may include talking about life events (past and present), feelings, emotions, relationships, ways of thinking and patterns of behaviour.
